Tags are a great tool to segment your candidate database. You can add tags to the system either by defining them while adding tag to a candidate or by going to 'Tags' under Settings and adding the Tag.

Tags, if not used properly, can be confusing and sometimes different tags can represent the same segment.

That's why Recruiterflow allows Admins to see the list of tags defined by the team by going to 'Tags' in Settings. You can see how many profiles have a particular tag and also replace similar tags with one unified tag.
