Recruiterflow's "Update Profile Using a File" allows you to quickly update a candidate or contact profile by uploading a file such as a resume, CV, or any relevant document. This feature ensures that your profiles are always up-to-date without the need for manual data entry.

How to Use This Feature

Step 1:

Go to the candidate or contact profile you want to update. Upload the latest file (Resume, CV, etc) by heading to the Files tab in the profile.

Step 2:

Once the file is uploaded, click on the options icon (3 dots) and choose the Update Profile using File. Recruiterflow will extract key details like:

  • Updated job titles.

  • Contact information.

  • Skills and experience.

The profile will automatically be updated after that.

Examples of How It Helps in Daily Operations

1. Managing Updated Resumes

  • Scenario: A candidate applies to a job and later shares a revised resume. Instead of manually editing the profile, upload the updated resume, and Recruiterflow will extract and sync the new details automatically.

2. Keeping Contact Profiles Current

  • Scenario: A client shares a LinkedIn export or an updated file with their new role, email, or phone number. Upload the file, and Recruiterflow updates the contact's details for you.

3. Streamlining Bulk Updates

  • Scenario: You receive updated profiles for multiple candidates from a sourcing partner. Open each profile, upload the corresponding file, and save yourself hours of manual work.

Why This Feature Is Useful

  • Saves Time: No more manual data entry for every small change.

  • Improves Accuracy: Ensures all your profiles are consistent and up-to-date.

  • Streamlines Workflows: Makes it easy to handle updated resumes or contact files without losing track of important details.
