What is a Job-Specific Maildrop ID?

A Job-Specific Maildrop ID is a unique email address associated with each job in your Recruiterflow account. When you forward resumes to this email address, candidates are automatically added to your Recruiterflow account and placed directly into the source stage of the specified job.

How to Find the Job-Specific Maildrop ID

  1. Go to the Jobs Page: Log in to your Recruiterflow account and navigate to the "Jobs" page.

  2. Select the Job: Find the specific job for which you want the Maildrop ID.

  3. Access the Options: Click on the three dots (ellipsis) located next to the job.

  4. Copy the Maildrop Link: From the dropdown menu, select the option "Copy Maildrop Link."

This will provide you with the unique Maildrop ID for the selected job.

How to Use the Job-Specific Maildrop ID

  • Forward Resumes: Send one or multiple resumes to the copied Maildrop ID email address.

  • Automatic Candidate Addition: The candidates will automatically be added to your Recruiterflow account and directly placed in the source stage of the specified job.

Important Notes:

  • Make sure you send resumes only from an email address that is added as a user in your Recruiterflow account.

  • Double-check the Maildrop ID to ensure resumes are forwarded to the correct job.

  • Make sure that the resumes are sent as attachments.

Common Usecase
A common use case of the Job-Specific Maildrop ID is when jobs are posted directly on job boards like Indeed. Recruiters can create the same job in Recruiterflow and then edit the job posting on the job board to add the Job-Specific Maildrop ID where it says "send resumes to" or something similar ensuring that all applications are routed correctly to the specific job in Recruiterflow, even when posted externally. In Indeed's employer settings, recruiters need to configure the communication section to send resumes as attachments so the system can parse the resume to create a profile for that particular candidate.
