Pitching candidates lets you share a curated shortlist with multiple clients in one go — no individual outreach required. Each client gets a unique link to review profiles and leave feedback, which flows back into Recruiterflow.
How to create a pitch
Step 1: Select your candidates
Go to the Candidates tab or Advanced Search and select the candidates you want to pitch. You can also pitch a single candidate directly from their profile — click the three-dot menu next to their name and select Pitch Candidate.
Once you've made your selection, click Pitch Candidates in the action bar.
Step 2: Choose which fields to share
A preview window shows all selected candidates alongside the fields your contacts will see. To adjust what's visible, click Choose Data to Share in the top-right corner.
Check or uncheck fields in the left column to add or remove them from the shared view.
Step 3: Name your pitch list
Give the list a descriptive name in the top-left corner — this makes it easy to identify later when tracking responses.
Then choose who can access the link: restrict it to contacts already in Recruiterflow, or allow anyone with the link to view it. See Pitching Candidates to Contacts vs Non-Contacts for a full breakdown of how these differ.
Step 4: Share the pitch
Click one of two options:
Create and Copy Link — generates a single generic link you can paste anywhere. Contacts can view profiles but cannot leave feedback or notes.
Create and Share with Contacts — sends each contact a unique link via email and enables them to leave structured feedback. Use this option when you want client input that routes back into Recruiterflow.
Choosing Create and Share with Contacts opens an email compose window. Select your recipients, draft your message, and insert the candidate list using the Candidate List button in the toolbar. Each recipient gets their email individually — no one can see who else received it.
Example
You've sourced three strong operations managers and want to gauge client interest before starting intro calls. Select all three from the Candidates tab, click Pitch Candidates, choose Create and Share with Contacts, and email five client contacts at once. Each client gets their own link, can view the profiles, and can leave feedback — all of which appears in your pitch tracking view, with no back-and-forth required.
Things to know
Candidates are not notified when they are added to a pitch list.
When you use Create and Copy Link, all recipients share the same view and cannot leave feedback — that option is only available with contact-specific links.
You can track which contacts have opened a pitch link and review their feedback from the pitch tracking view. See Tracking pitch links and managing client responses.
Hiring managers can leave candidate feedback directly on their pitch link without needing a Recruiterflow account. See How hiring managers submit feedback on a pitch.
