Getting Meeting Type Auto-Tagging running takes two steps: turning it on, and making sure your meeting types actually have descriptions for AIRA to match against. Skipping the second step is the most common reason this feature feels unreliable.
Step 1: Turn on auto-classification
Click the Notetaker icon in the left sidebar.
Go to settings.
Scroll to the Smart association section.
Turn on "Use AIRA to auto-classify meeting type."
Step 2: Set descriptions for your meeting types
Click the Settings (gear) icon in the top navigation.
Go to General Settings.
Scroll to the Meeting type section.
For each meeting type added, check whether a description is filled in. If it's blank or vague, click into it and write a clear one.
To add a new custom type, click + Add, give it a name, write a description, and click Save. Descriptions have a 300-character limit.
Once both steps are done, AIRA starts tagging new calls automatically. It does not retag calls that were logged before you turned this on.
