Important Update: LinkedIn’s Policy Changes for Staffing Agencies
As of August 24, 2024, LinkedIn announced a new policy specific to staffing agencies. Under this policy:
LinkedIn paid job slots are now required to post or promote jobs on LinkedIn, regardless of whether you are posting directly through their platform or via any Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
While this change was announced earlier, LinkedIn has only recently begun fully enforcing it.
What This Means for You
If you are a staffing agency that uses an ATS to post jobs to LinkedIn:
Free Job Posting is No Longer Available
LinkedIn now requires all staffing agencies to purchase paid job slots for posting jobs. This is irrespective of the ATS you use.
Job Promotion
Promoting jobs on LinkedIn will also require meeting these new paid job slot requirements.
Your Workflow on Recruiterflow
Our integration with LinkedIn remains seamless, but staffing agencies must ensure they meet LinkedIn’s updated policy requirements to continue posting jobs.
What We’ve Done to Keep You Updated
We proactively communicated this change in our August 1, 2024 product update email. If you missed it, please feel free to reach out for additional information.
We also reached out to LinkedIn and they have confirmed that the jobs are not visible as they belong to staffing agencies.
Next Steps
To comply with LinkedIn’s updated policy:
Review your current LinkedIn account plan to determine if paid job slots are necessary for your team.
Contact LinkedIn support or visit their Help Center for more details on upgrading your subscription. For comprehensive details and insights, a dedicated article from LinkedIn has been included for reference.
