General questions
Is AIRA Search the same as Advanced Search?
No. Advanced Search requires you to manually build structured filters field by field. AIRA Search lets you describe who you're looking for in plain English and handles filter construction automatically. It also reaches qualitative signals like deal sizes, promotion velocity, growth trajectory, etc., that live in notes, transcripts, and resumes, which Advanced Search cannot access. Both are available on AIRA Plan accounts; neither replaces the other.
Which plan do I need to use AIRA Search?
AIRA Search is available exclusively on the AIRA Plan. Users on other plan tiers will not see the search bar. Contact your Account Manager to discuss upgrading.
Can I use AIRA Search to search Contacts or Companies?
Not yet. AIRA Search currently works on Candidates only. Support for Contacts and Companies is planned for a future release.
Does AIRA Search replace the standard filter search?
No. The standard Advanced Search filters remain fully accessible. AIRA Search is an additional capability on top of the existing search experience, not a replacement for it.
Query and results questions
Why did AIRA ask me a clarifying question?
AIRA asks clarifying questions when your query contains genuine ambiguity, for example, when "senior" could mean a senior IC or a management role, or when a location term could mean remote-only or geographically specific. AIRA only asks when it could go meaningfully wrong; if your query is unambiguous, it proceeds directly without questions.
AIRA interpreted my query wrong. What should I do?
Click Edit on the incorrect filter chip in the snack bar. Correct the value in the side sheet and click Save & Rerun. If multiple chips are wrong, it's usually faster to rephrase the original query and resubmit. See How to write a good AIRA Search query for guidance.
Can I save my search and run it again later?
Not in the current release. Saved queries and query history are planned for a future update. For now, you'll need to re-type your query each session.
Can I export NLS results to CSV or Excel?
Not in the current release. Export functionality is planned for a future update.
Can I search across multiple accounts at once?
No. AIRA Search results are always scoped to your currently active account. Switch to the relevant account before running a search.
Data and quality questions
What data does AIRA Search read?
AIRA Search reads two layers of data: structured fields in Recruiterflow (title, location, company, experience, etc.) and the AIRA Talent Graph - an AI-generated profile built from notes, call transcripts via Notetaker, uploaded resumes, Crunchbase data, LinkedIn data, and other enrichment sources. The richer the candidate's profile, the better AIRA can rank and explain results.
Why does AIRA Insight say "Limited profile data" for some candidates?
It means that candidate doesn't have enough data in their AIRA Talent Graph to generate specific evidence. This typically means no notes, call transcripts, or resume have been added to their profile. AIRA will never fabricate evidence. If it can't find specific proof, it says so. Add data to the candidate's profile (notes, resume, Notetaker calls) to improve their future ranking.
Does AIRA Search change or modify candidate data?
No. AIRA Search is read-only. It reads from your candidate database and the AIRA Talent Graph. It never writes to, modifies, or deletes candidate data.
