The Off-Platform Hire tag doesn't always appear the moment you expect it. Here are the most common reasons it might not be showing, and what to do about each one.
The feature is only available on the AIRA Plan with JCA access
Off-Platform Hire detection requires an active AIRA Plan and access to the Job Candidate Activity (JCA) page. If your account doesn't have JCA, the tag will never appear. Check your plan in Settings > Billing or contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm.
The candidate hasn't changed jobs yet, or the change hasn't been detected
The tag only appears after AIRA detects a job change for the candidate. This is not instantaneous. Detection depends on AIRA's monitoring cycle. If a candidate recently joined a client company, the tag may appear within the next update cycle rather than immediately.
The candidate's new employer isn't recorded as a client in Recruiterflow
Detection only fires when the candidate's new company matches a company you actively recruit for in Recruiterflow. If the client company isn't in your Recruiterflow database, or isn't associated with active jobs, the system won't make the match. Verify the client company exists and is linked to relevant jobs in Recruiterflow.
There is a placement already recorded for this candidate at this company
If a placement has been logged in Recruiterflow for this candidate at the client company, even for a different role, the system treats the hire as through your firm and will not flag it as off-platform. Check whether a placement record exists that may have been entered in error.
The hire happened outside the 12-month detection window
Recruiterflow looks back approximately 12 months from the candidate's addition to the job pipeline date. If the hire occurred more than 12 months after the candidate was added in the job pipeline, it falls outside the detection window and no tag will appear.
Still not seeing it? Contact support
If none of the above apply and you believe a tag should be showing, reach out to the Recruiterflow support team with the candidate name, the client company name, and the job in question. Include the submission date and the approximate date you believe the hire occurred.
