Investor & Portfolio Tracking FAQ

Common questions about investor mappings, portfolio depth, and what changes when you remap an entry.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Can a company have more than one investor?

Yes. A company profile supports multiple investor entries, so keep adding them if a portfolio company has more than one backer.

Do investor mappings carry over between accounts?

No. Mappings are account-specific. Each Recruiterflow account maintains its own set independently.

Is there a screen to see every investor mapping in my account at once?

Not in this release. Investor mappings are managed from each company profile individually. A dedicated management screen may be considered for a future release.

If a portfolio company is itself an investor, does its portfolio show up too?

No, not yet. Portfolio depth is capped at one level, so a portfolio company's own portfolio doesn't chain into the original investor's Portfolio card, filters, or Job Company Investor column.

Does the Job Company Investor column require the AIRA Plan?

No. The column is available on every plan. It simply reflects whatever investor mapping already exists for the job's client company, however that mapping was added.

If I remap an investor entry, do I lose the old data?

No. Remapping re-aggregates jobs, placements, deals, contacts, and portfolio membership against the new mapping immediately. Nothing is deleted; the data simply reflects the corrected relationship going forward.
