Closing a job in Recruiterflow unpublishes it from all connected job boards and marks it as inactive. Candidates already in your pipeline are not affected — they stay in their current stages and their records remain fully intact.

How to Close a Job

  1. Go to the Jobs page from the left navigation.

  2. Find the job you want to close.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the job card.

  4. Select Close Job.

The job is immediately closed and removed from all job boards.

Things to Know

  • Candidates aren't affected. Closing a job doesn't move, archive, or delete any candidates in the pipeline. Everyone stays exactly where they are.

  • Job boards go dark right away. The job is unpublished from all connected boards the moment you close it — no delay.

  • You can reopen it. If hiring resumes, open the same three-dot menu on the job card and select Reopen Job. This republishes it to job boards.

  • Closed jobs are still accessible. Filter for closed jobs on the Jobs page to review past roles, candidates, or hiring data at any time.

  • Closing is not the same as deleting. Closed jobs and their candidate histories are preserved. Deletion is a separate, permanent action.
