There is a settings section on the edit job page where you can assign a status to the job. You can assign job status and the visibility rules apply to the job and candidates in the job as well.
What do these job statuses mean?
Draft: Default status before a job is created.
External: Job is visible on your careers page and can be published on various job boards.
Closed: Job is closed.
Confidential: Job and candidates in this job are only visible to people in the hiring team and admins.
Internal: Job is only visible to internal users and no public job page is created.
Unlisted: Job page is created but is not visible on the careers page and cannot be posted on job boards. People with the link to the job page can apply and view the job description.
Note: External jobs cannot be changed into Confidential jobs.
