When managing multiple jobs, it’s difficult to track how your job pipeline looks and how they are progressing. The Job Status feature in Recruiterflow ensures that you never lose track of where each job is in the recruitment process. By labeling jobs with clear statuses, you can streamline your workflow and focus on the jobs that need immediate attention.

How to Manage Jobs Using Job Statuses?

There are three ways to use Job Status to manage your workflow:

1. Filter Jobs by Status:

On the "Jobs" page, you can use the filter options at the top to filter jobs by their status. This will show you only jobs that match the selected labels, making it easier to focus on the jobs that matter the most to you at a given time.

2. Group Jobs by Status:

Use the "Group By" option to group jobs by status, so you can visually track jobs in different phases, e.g., grouping jobs tagged as Final Stage separately from jobs tagged as Interview.

Note: The Jobs will be grouped based on the order you chose while adding the Job Statuses in Job Settings.

3. Using 'Job Status' as a filter in Advanced Search:

The 'Job Status' is also available in Job Advanced Search to help you quickly look at jobs that meet certain criteria and create 'Saved Searches' around them to later use in Recipes.

Example Scenario for Using Job Status

Imagine you are managing a busy pipeline with jobs in different stages. You have:

  • Job A: In the "Submission" stage, waiting for client approval.

  • Job B: In the "Sourcing" stage, needing more candidates.

  • Job C: In the "Final" stage, close to finalizing.

Using job statuses, you can group/filter these jobs so that you:

  • Quickly filter and identify that Job A needs client follow-up.

  • See what jobs are in the sourcing stage and follow up with your team to focus more on Job B, which requires candidate sourcing.

  • Identify jobs where the candidate has been offered an offer and track the progress of Job C, ensuring the offer is accepted and finalized quickly.

Why Use Job Statuses for Job Management?

Recruiters often juggle numerous jobs at different stages in the hiring process—some in early sourcing, others waiting for client approval, and some in negotiation. Having a clear job status helps you:

  • Visualize Progress: Know which jobs are lagging and which are moving forward.

  • Prioritize Efforts: Focus your time on jobs that need action, like submissions or offer negotiations.
