Managing your job pipeline became much easier with our new Highlights feature. You can now quickly add highlights and updates directly to candidate cards in your Job Kanban view. This ensures that important information is visible at a glance, making it easier for you and your team to track candidate progress and collaborate effectively.

How to Add Highlights to Candidate Cards

1. Navigate to the Job Pipeline:

  • Go to the Jobs section in Recruiterflow and Switch to the Kanban view (if you aren’t already there).

Note: The Highlight feature is only available on the Job Kanban View.

2. Select a Candidate Card:

  • Locate the candidate card you want to add a highlight to.

  • Head to the "Add a highlight" icon (represented by a sticky note).

3. Add a Highlight:

  • Click on the icon to open the Highlight editor.

  • Enter your note, status, or update related to the candidate's progress or relevant information.

  • Once done, click Save to add the highlight. The added information will be displayed on the candidate card, making it easily visible.

How to Edit or Delete a Highlight:

You can click on the 'Add a highlight' at any time to edit or delete the information as the candidate progresses through the pipeline.

Possible Use Cases for Highlights

Here are some ways you can use the Highlights feature to improve your recruiting workflow:

  1. Interview Stage Notes: Add notes about scheduled interviews, feedback from interviews, or important upcoming steps.

  2. Collaboration: Leave comments or updates for your colleagues working on the same job, allowing them to see the most recent progress or concerns with a candidate.

  3. Candidate Preferences: Use highlights to capture key candidate preferences such as location, salary expectations, or desired start dates, making sure this information is visible throughout the hiring process.

  4. Urgency Markers: Tag candidates who require immediate attention or who might be considering other offers, allowing your team to act faster.

  5. Candidate Availability: Add notes regarding candidate availability for interviews or when they could potentially start.

  6. Compliance Tracking: Track the status of required documents, background checks, or other compliance-related items that may be pending for specific candidates.

Benefits of Using Candidate Highlights

  1. Improved Collaboration: With highlights, your entire team can stay updated on important candidate information without having to search through multiple systems or notes.

  2. Quick Access to Critical Data: Having status updates, notes, and feedback visible on candidate cards reduces the need to navigate between different tabs and tools.

  3. Increased Efficiency: Important details about a candidate’s progress are just a glance away, helping you make quicker decisions without missing crucial information.

  4. Enhanced Candidate Experience: By keeping track of preferences and needs through highlights, you can offer a more personalized candidate experience, leading to better engagement.

  5. Streamlined Pipeline Management: Highlight urgent candidates, track interview stages, and manage key compliance tasks right on the candidate card, making your pipeline more organized and actionable.
