A recruiting agency usually deals with multiple jobs spread across various clients. In such a setup, it becomes challenging for a recruiter to understand how is their job pipeline looking - how many jobs are in sourcing, submission, interview stages, and so on.
Having such visibility helps you quickly visualize the progress of each job and identify bottlenecks in your job flow, even when managing multiple jobs at different stages.
Recruiterflow's Job Status solves this by allowing you to assign specific labels to your jobs, making it easier to track and manage them effectively. With clear labels like "Sourcing," "Submission," or "Final Stages," etc., you can efficiently track your jobs’ movement through the pipeline. This eliminates confusion and allows for faster decision-making and action-taking.
This article will guide you step-by-step through assigning job statuses to your jobs in Recruiterflow.
Benefits of Assigning Job Statuses
Clarity: Understand the exact stage of each job at a glance.
Efficiency: Prioritize jobs based on their current status, focusing on those needing immediate attention.
Organization: Keep your job pipeline clean and easy to manage, reducing confusion, especially when handling multiple roles.
Steps to Assign a Job Status
Step 1
As a first step, head to Settings > Job settings and scroll down to Job Status. Next, click on the '+Add' button as seen in the image below.
Step 2
A 'New Job Status' window will open up. You can add the name and color of your Job Status here.
You can either choose to enter the hex code of the color OR simply click on the color box, and choose one from the palette.
At every step, you can preview your job status.
Once, you are happy with the inputs, click on 'Save.'
Note: You can add as many job statuses as you wish. However, we suggest you keep them limited to ensure your data stays clean.
Step 3
Now go to any of your jobs in Recruiterflow and click on the 'Assign a status' link as seen in the image below.
Step 4
You will now see the Status box open up. Pick any job status you wish, and click on 'Save.'
You will find the Job Status added to your jobs in the Job Kanban View and the Job Grid View as seen in the image below:
