Segments in Recruiterflow help you organize candidates by specific criteria, making it easy to access targeted groups with a single click. This feature is perfect for grouping candidates by skills, job stages, locations, or any custom category that suits your workflow. Segments also update dynamically as new candidates meet your criteria, ensuring you always have the most up-to-date list. Plus, you can share these segments with your team to keep everyone aligned.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create and share a segment on the Candidates page.
Step 1:
Head to your Candidates page by navigating to recruiterflow.com/candidates. Now click on the '+ Add Segment' button found in the top toolbar of the table and then click on 'Create a new Segment.' You will see a 'Filters' column opening up on the right side.
Step 2:
In the Filters column, start by defining the specific criteria using the filters you want. You can combine multiple filters to create a more focused segment.
For instance, we are creating a segment called 'Top Candidates' where we are filtering them based on their experience, star rating, and skills.
Worked at contains one of Meta, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Microsoft, Google
Candidate rating is one of ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Skills contains one of Machine Learning, AI Development

Step 3:
Once you’re happy with the search results, click on the 'Save As' button found at the bottom.
A new Save as a new Segment box opens up.
Choose a name that’s descriptive and easy to identify. For instance, “Tech Candidates - SF” or “Active Applicants - Marketing.”
If you want this segment to be available only to you, select 'Only Me' as an option under Share With. Otherwise, you can share it with your team or everyone else in your organization (more on sharing below).
If you wish to pin this segment on top of the table, check the 'Open as a view after saving' box as shown in the image.
Finally, click Save to create the segment.
Step 4:
If you had checked the 'Open as a view after saving' box, you would find your segment pinned on top of the candidates table.
Otherwise, you can click on the 'All Segments' link on the right side and open the segment you created.
With segments, Recruiterflow makes it easier than ever to organize, access, and manage your candidate data effectively. Whether you’re sourcing, shortlisting, or preparing for interviews, segments keep the candidates you need within reach.
