To ensure consistent data capture and cleaner workflows, Recruiterflow allows you to enforce mandatory fields when candidates move between job stages. This means you can require specific fields to be filled before a candidate progresses through your pipeline.
If the required fields aren’t completed, the stage change will not go through, helping your team maintain data accuracy and compliance at every step.
What Is This Capability?
With this capability, you can mark certain fields (system or custom) as mandatory when moving a candidate from one stage to another in a job pipeline.
Here’s how it works:
A user tries to move a candidate to a new stage.
If any required fields are incomplete, a pop-up window appears prompting them to fill those fields.
The candidate can only be moved if all mandatory fields are completed.
If not filled, the stage movement is cancelled.
This feature is only available to accounts part of the Advanced Plan and Custom Plan
Why Is This Helpful?
✅ Enforces critical data collection at the right time
✅ Ensures consistency across your team’s workflows
✅ Prevents gaps in reporting by requiring inputs before moving forward
✅ Supports compliance with client or internal requirements
How to Set Up Mandatory Fields for Stage Movement?
1. Head to Settings > Job Settings > Customize Stage Settings. Click on the edit icon adjacent to the job stage.
2. In the pop-up, click on the Advanced Settings dropdown
3. Now, add the fields (system or custom) from the dropdown box as seen. Once you have added all the fields, click on Update.
Note: You can add multiple fields as mandatory for a particular stage

Ensure salary expectations are met before progressing to the final stages.
