Daily Channel Usage Summary

How the Daily Channel Usage Summary widget works — what each card shows, how the rolling 24h window and LinkedIn limits work, and how to use the per-sequence detail view.

Who this is for: All Recruiterflow users who run sequences — particularly those managing multiple active sequences simultaneously.

What the Daily Channel Usage Summary is

The Daily Channel Usage Summary is a widget that appears at the top of the Sequences page, above the Sequences table. It shows how much of your daily sending activity has happened across each channel in the last 24 hours — and for social specifically, how close you are to your daily limit.

It is scoped strictly to your own sequences — sequences where you are either the owner or a sender. You cannot see another user's activity from this widget.

The channel cards

The widget is a horizontal strip of cards, organised into four groups:

Group 1 — Messaging Channels

Card

What it shows

Email

Total emails sent (automated + manual) across all your sequences in the last 24 hours. Raw count only — no limit denominator.

Marketing Email

Marketing emails sent in the last 24 hours. Raw count only.

LinkedIn Messages

LinkedIn DMs sent in the last 24h / your configured daily DM limit (e.g., "34 / 50").

SMS

Text messages sent across all your sequences in the last 24 hours. Raw count only.

Group 2 — Social Connection Requests

Card

What it shows

Social Connection Requests

Connection requests sent in the last 24h / your configured daily CR limit (e.g., "134 / 150"). Includes both requests with and without a note.

Accepted Requests

Number of sent connection requests that have been accepted. Updates in real time via Social webhook — not on the 15-minute refresh cycle.

Group 3 — Tasks

Card

What it shows

Tasks

Three numbers in one card: Tasks Created / Tasks Completed / Tasks Skipped in the last 24 hours.

Group 4 — Sequence Engagement

Card

What it shows

Recipients Contacted

Unique recipients who received at least one sequence step from you in the last 24 hours.

Replies

Total replies received across all channels in the last 24 hours.

Meetings Booked

Total meetings booked in the last 24 hours.

Hover tooltips

Hovering over any card shows the full label and context. Examples:

  • Email: "34 emails sent in the last 24 hours."

  • Social Messages: "34 Social messages sent in the last 24 hours. Limit: 50/day."

  • Social Connection Requests: "134 connection requests sent in the last 24 hours. Limit: 150/day."

When you're at or near your Social limit

If the count on a Social card equals the daily limit (XX = YY), the card switches to an alert state — amber or red border with a warning icon. The tooltip reads: "Daily limit reached. Further sends are paused until [reset time]."

Once the limit is reached, Recruiterflow stops queueing LinkedIn sends for you until the 24-hour window resets. Recipients waiting on a LinkedIn step remain queued and will send once capacity frees up.

How often the data refreshes

  • The widget refreshes automatically every 15 minutes

  • The Accepted Requests count updates in real time via Social webhook — independent of the 15-minute cycle

  • If no activity has occurred in the last 24 hours, all cards show 0 (or "0 / YY" for Social cards)

How the 24-hour window works

The widget uses a rolling 24-hour window, not a calendar-day reset. The window is calculated per your configured timezone in your Recruiterflow profile. If no timezone is set, it defaults to UTC.

This means limits don't reset at midnight — they reset 24 hours after the oldest send in the window falls out. So if you sent 50 LinkedIn messages at 10 AM yesterday, your limit resets at 10 AM today.

Social limits are user-level. Actions taken outside of Sequences — sending a DM or connection request directly from a candidate or contact's profile — are not counted in the XX shown on the widget. The widget only reflects Sequence activity.

The Detail View

Clicking View Details on the widget opens a modal that breaks down your last 24 hours of activity per sequence.

The modal shows a table with one row per sequence where you are a sender or owner, and columns for: Emails Sent, Marketing Emails, Social Messages, Social CRs, SMS Sent, Recipients Contacted, Replies, and Meetings Booked. A Totals row is pinned at the bottom.

Sequences where you sent nothing in the last 24 hours are hidden by default — toggle Show inactive sequences to see them.

If a sequence was deleted mid-window, it still appears in the modal with a Deleted label and is not clickable.

If Social is not connected

The Social group (Social Messages, Social Connection Requests, Accepted Requests) is not shown on the widget if your Social account is not connected. Connect your Social account in Settings → Integrations to see these cards.
