When an exec movement alert arrives for someone already in your Recruiterflow database, you'll see a Job Change Pending badge on their alert card in the New tab. You have two options: accept the job change to update their profile, or dismiss the alert.
How to accept a job change
Go to Job Change Alerts → Exec Watchlist tab → New.
Find the alert with the Job Change Pending badge. The person's name is hyperlinked to their Contact profile.
Click Accept Job Change (if they are already in your database) OR add them to your database.
Recruiterflow updates the Contact's current title and company and logs the change in their activity feed: "Job change accepted from Exec Watchlist — updated from [Old Title] at [Old Company] to [New Title] at [New Company] on [Date]."
The alert moves to the Accepted tab.
How to dismiss an alert
Find the alert in the New tab.
Click Dismiss.
Dismissing does not update the Contact's profile. The alert moves to the Dismissed tab. No further actions are available on that alert card for in-database contacts who are dismissed.
Use Dismiss when the alert is a false match, the data is already up to date on their profile, or the movement isn't relevant to your BD work.
After accepting: what you can do next
Once a job change is accepted, the alert card in the Accepted tab shows:
Add to Sequence - Enroll the exec in an outreach sequence directly from the alert.
Find Email - Trigger an AIRA credit lookup to find their current email address.
Find Phone - Trigger an AIRA credit lookup to find their current phone number.
Things to know
Accepting a job change writes to the Contact record. If you accept by mistake, you'll need to manually correct their profile.
Dismissing an in-database alert removes it from the New tab with no further action available. This cannot be undone from the alert, but you can still update the Contact profile manually if needed.
You can take these actions in bulk
