Navigating the New Job Profile

A tour of the sticky header, tab bar, and navigation controls on the redesigned Job Profile page.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The Job Profile page now has a sticky header that stays put while you scroll, so job identity and quick actions are always one click away.

The header, top to bottom

Row 1 holds the Job Name, a kebab (⋯) menu for less-frequent actions, the Job Status dropdown, and a row of quick-action icons. If you opened this job from a list, you'll also see Back and Previous/Next arrows on the far right.

It also has a single metadata line: Company name (click it to jump to the Company profile) · Department · Commitment · Visibility · Work Arrangement · Location · Opened/Closed date.

The tab bar

Sits directly below the header and is also sticky. Only the content beneath it scrolls. Your tabs, in order, might include Details, Pipeline, Scout, Billing, Activities, Search Strategy, depending on your account's configuration and plan.

Previous/Next navigation

If you opened this job from a filtered list, Previous/Next lets you step through that same list without going back first. This navigation works off a snapshot of the list taken when you opened the job. If someone adds, removes, or reorders jobs in that list afterward, Previous/Next may land you somewhere unexpected. Use the Return to list breadcrumb to refresh to the current list state.

Edge cases worth knowing

  • If a job has no associated company, the logo area shows a placeholder and the company name shows as plain, unlinked text.

  • If someone deletes the job while you have it open in another tab, your tab keeps showing stale data until you interact with it, at which point you'll see "This job no longer exists" with a link back to the Jobs list.
