Using Quick Actions on a Job

A reference for every action available from the header's action row and kebab menu: Clone, Close, Delete, Send To, and report generation.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The header's action row and kebab menu give you fast access to the actions you'd otherwise need several clicks to reach.

Kebab menu (⋯)

  • Copy Maildrop ID — copies the job's email-in address to your clipboard.

  • Generate Search Summary and Search Progress Report — open the existing report creation flow, scoped to this job.

  • Send to — fires a configured webhook for this job. Ask your Admin if you're not sure what this is wired to.

  • Clone Job — duplicates the job's core details into a new draft job.

  • Close Job — marks the job closed. This does not automatically move or disqualify pipeline candidates; they stay in their current stage unless your account has a setting enabled to auto-disqualify on close.

  • Delete Job — permanent. Requires Edit Job permission.

  • Edit Job — opens the side sheet, same as clicking an editable field directly.

Permissions

Close Job, Delete Job, and Edit Job all require the Edit Job permission. View-only users can still Clone, generate reports, and use Send To, since none of those modify the job itself.

Things to know

  • Closing a job with candidates actively in the pipeline is safe by default. Nothing happens to them unless auto-disqualify is turned on.

  • If a teammate has the job open when you delete it, their tab will keep showing the old data until they interact with it, at which point they'll see an error banner and a link back to the Jobs list.
