Using the Files card

Uploading, categorizing, and organizing candidate files.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The Files card organizes candidate documents into categories: Resume, Auto-generated resume, Formatted resume, Other, and any custom category you define.

Left/Right column

Shows the highest-priority category by default, in order you have set in settings, up to 3 files per category, with a dropdown to switch categories and "View more" for the full list.

Middle column: all files in a flat grid, ordered by most recent upload, defaulting to "All files."

Primary file:

At most one primary file per category. "Mark as primary" shown as a green check mark. It appears on hover (if the card is in the middle column), OR in the three dot menu option (if the card is left/right column).

Hover actions:

Pencil icon for inline rename of the file (auto-save, max 60 characters), a lock/unlock toggle (instant, no confirmation), a download option, and an AIRA agent badge where applicable.

Three-dot menu:

Create formatted resume, Edit file, Update Profile using File, Change category, Delete.
