Using AIRA on a Candidate Profile: What Each Function Does

A guide explaining how to generate summaries, screening questions, job pitches, and candidate insights using AIRA.

Written by Arnav A

AIRA is Recruiterflow's AI assistant. On any candidate profile, it gives you four tools that pull from the candidate's resume, activity history, and the job they're being considered for — so you can move faster without losing context.

To access AIRA on a candidate profile, open the candidate record and click the AIRA button in the top right corner.

1. Summarize

Generates a plain-English summary of the candidate's experience, skills, and recent activity in Recruiterflow. Useful when you need to brief a colleague or a hiring manager quickly without handing over the raw profile.

Once generated, you can save the summary and reuse it anywhere in Recruiterflow — in MPC pitches, formatted resumes, email templates, and the client portal.

2. Job Pitch

Generates a personalized outreach message for the candidate based on their background and the job they're being considered for. AIRA matches the candidate's experience to the role's requirements and writes a pitch you can send or edit.

You can adjust the tone (formal, casual, concise) before copying it into an email or sequence step. This is especially useful when sourcing the same role for multiple candidates — instead of drafting from scratch each time, you generate and tweak.

3. Screening Questions

Generates a set of interview or pre-screen questions tailored to the job requirements and the specific candidate's background. Questions are surfaced based on what's known about the role and what's on the candidate's resume.

Once generated, you can copy the questions directly into a call log or candidate note with one click — so they're attached to the record automatically.

4. Insights

Pulls together a snapshot of the candidate's current status: which jobs they're in, what stage they're at, how long they've been there, and a summary of recent communications. This is the go-to when a manager asks for a quick candidate update and you don't want to scroll through the whole activity feed.

The output is copyable, so you can paste it into a Slack message or email without reformatting.

Things to know

  • AIRA functions on the candidate profile work best when the candidate has a resume attached and a job associated with them — both improve the quality of generated content.

  • Generated summaries and pitches are editable before you use or save them.

  • AIRA credits are consumed each time you generate content. Your workspace credit balance is visible under Settings → AI Credits.
