AIRA vs. RF GPT: Which AI Tool Does What in Recruiterflow?

AIRA and RF GPT are both AI tools in Recruiterflow, but they do very different things. Here's how to tell them apart and when to use each one.

Written by Abhishek Satija

Recruiterflow has two AI tools — AIRA and RF GPT — and they're easy to confuse. They're both powered by AI, they both sit inside Recruiterflow, but they solve completely different problems. Here's the short version: AIRA helps you find and understand data; RF GPT helps you write.

AIRA — your recruiting intelligence assistant

AIRA (AI RecOps Assistant) is a conversational interface into your Recruiterflow data. Ask it a question about a candidate, contact, job, or deal, and it surfaces the relevant information from your account in real time — without you having to click through profiles, search filters, or activity logs.

AIRA also powers automated workflows. You can set up rules that trigger actions based on conditions in your pipeline — think of it as the engine behind Recruiterflow's automation layer.

What AIRA does well:

  • Instant lookups: "What's the latest on Jane Doe?" → summary of all notes, emails, and stage movements

  • Activity retrieval: "Show me all recent activity for Acme Corp." → emails, calls, deal status, in one view

  • Pipeline intelligence: surfaces candidates who match a new role based on your existing data

  • Workflow automation: triggers stage moves, reminders, or tasks based on conditions you define

RF GPT — your AI writing assistant

RF GPT is a writing tool. It generates and improves text — emails, job descriptions, candidate pitches, follow-ups — using AI. RF GPT sits within AIRA as a focused capability for content generation.

What RF GPT does well:

  • Draft outreach emails based on a candidate's profile or past interactions

  • Write or rewrite job descriptions with better structure and keyword coverage

  • Improve the tone and response rate of existing messages

  • Generate client-ready candidate summaries

RF GPT is a subset of AIRA — it handles writing tasks within the broader AIRA suite.

How they work together

The two tools are most powerful when used in sequence. AIRA surfaces the context; RF GPT helps you act on it.

Example workflow:

  1. Ask AIRA: "What's the latest on John Smith?" → AIRA returns a summary of all emails, notes, and stage activity.

  2. Use RF GPT: "Draft a follow-up email to John based on this." → RF GPT writes a personalized message using the context AIRA just surfaced.

Things to know

  • AIRA draws from your workspace data. If a record is incomplete, AIRA's answers will be limited — keeping your CRM clean matters.

  • RF GPT generates based on what you give it. The more context in your prompt, the better the output.

  • AIRA automation rules are set up separately from AIRA's conversational interface — check the Automation section in Workspace Settings.

  • Some AIRA features may be plan-gated. Check your plan or reach out to your account manager if something isn't visible.
