How to Choose Columns for Your Jobs Export

Step-by-step: selecting exactly which columns to include when you export Jobs from the Jobs page or Advanced Search.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Use this when you want a Jobs export that only has the columns you actually need, instead of a fixed set with extra columns to delete afterward.

Export from the Jobs page

  1. Open the Jobs page.

  2. Apply any filters you want the export to respect.

  3. Click Export to excel.

  4. In the column selector, check the columns you want included. Uncheck anything you don't need.

  5. Click Export.

Export from Advanced Search

  1. Run a Jobs Advanced Search with the filters you want.

  2. Click Export to excel on the results.

  3. Choose your columns the same way as above, then export.

Example

You need a quick revenue snapshot for leadership: Job Name, Client Name, Forecasted Revenue, and Close Probability, nothing else. Uncheck every other column in the selector so the export opens clean, no extra columns to delete in Excel first.

Things to know

  • You can choose to remember column selection for your next Jobs export while exporting, so you don't have to rebuild it every time.

  • Job Custom Fields appear in the column selector in the same order they're listed in your Custom Field settings.
