Investor Mapping Agent: Limits & Known Behaviors

The 24-hour run limit, what's excluded on repeat runs, and what the activity log captures.

Written by Amogh Balikai

A few behaviors are worth knowing before you rely on the Investor Mapping Agent day to day.

Limits

Limit

What happens

One run per account per 24 hours

Run now is disabled with the next available run time shown until the window passes.

Runs can't be cancelled

Once triggered, a scan runs to completion. There's no way to stop it mid-run.

Reactive, on-demand only

The agent doesn't run automatically or on a schedule. Someone has to trigger it.

Company profiles only

Investor data lives on company profiles. Candidate profiles aren't scanned or affected.

What's excluded on repeat runs

String variants you've already mapped, created, or dismissed for a given company are excluded from future runs. Only unresolved variants are re-evaluated and re-clustered.

What mapping doesn't do

  • It doesn't auto-tag an investor's other portfolio companies once you map one relationship

  • It doesn't run automatically at the point AIRA company enrichment writes new investor text — it's reactive only.

  • A newly created company profile isn't automatically enriched — check with your admin on whether it needs manual enrichment.
