Generate a full job description from a title and a short description of the role. This guide is for recruiters who are creating or updating a job in Recruiterflow.

Steps

  1. Open the job, or start creating a new one.

  2. Open the Job Description Generator from the job description field.

  3. Enter the Job Title.

  4. In Describe this role, add everything you know: engagement type, key responsibilities, experience and skills required, company details, location, working arrangements, compensation and benefits.

  5. Optional: edit the Instructions to change the tone, language, length or structure. See Customizing tone, length and structure with Instructions.

  6. Click Generate job description.

  7. Read the draft, edit anything that needs changing, then save it to the job.

  8. Check the Skills and Experience section. If it was empty, AIRA has filled it from the new job description.

Example

A recruiter at a construction staffing agency pastes in: "Senior Project Manager, 12-month contract, hybrid in Chicago. Runs large commercial building programs, owns schedule and budget, works with architects and subcontractors. PMP preferred, 8+ years experience."

AIRA returns a job description of roughly 300 to 500 words with a short opening, key responsibilities and requirements. Because the recruiter did not share compensation or company details, AIRA leaves those out.

Things to know

  • AIRA only uses the details you provide. The more specific your description, the better the result.

  • Check every fact before you publish the job to a job board.

  • A short description produces a short job description.
