Update fields on a large group of candidates or contacts in one go using the bulk upload tool. Instead of editing profiles one at a time, you upload a spreadsheet, and Recruiterflow updates the matching records.
How it works
The bulk upload tool uses email, LinkedIn URL, or phone number as the duplicate unique identifier. When you upload a sheet, Recruiterflow looks at each profile, finds the matching candidate or contact, and updates the other columns on that record.
Steps
Go to the bulk upload page.
Upload your spreadsheet. One column must contain the candidate or contact's email, LinkedIn URL, or phone number — this is how Recruiterflow identifies the right record. The other columns hold the fields you want to update.
Review the preview. Recruiterflow shows the column headers and a sample row from your sheet so you can confirm the data looks right. Click the button at the bottom to continue mapping.
4. Map each column to the matching Recruiterflow field. Map your identifier column to Email, LinkedIn URL, or Phone, then map the rest of your columns to the corresponding System Fields or Custom Fields.
5. Confirm the mapping and click Start Upload.
Recruiterflow matches each row to an existing profile by email and other duplicate identifiers and writes the mapped fields onto that profile.
Practical example
You've collected updated phone numbers for 300 candidates after a recent campaign. Build a spreadsheet with two columns — Email and Phone Number — upload it, map the columns, and Recruiterflow refreshes all 300 profiles in a single pass.
Things to know
A duplicate identifier is required for matching. A row without one can't be linked back to an existing profile.
Any Custom Fields you want to update must already exist in your Recruiterflow account.
The same workflow works for both candidates and contacts.
Double-check your mapping before confirming. Once the upload runs, the changes are written directly to the matched profiles.
