AIRA Matchmaker gives you a ranked list of candidates for your job. By default, it uses your candidate details, job description, and other job requirements to derive the criteria.

But every role is different. You may want to prioritize certain skills, de-emphasize others, or add must-have conditions

.

That’s where Custom Criteria comes in. You can simply type your instructions in plain English and add them for AIRA Matchmaker.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Open the AIRA Matchmaker results

  1. Go to the Jobs tab and open a job.

  2. Click on the View button.

  3. You’ll see your candidate list with Criteria Scores.

Step 2: Edit your criteria

  1. In the match results page, click Edit Criteria as seen in the image.

  2. The criteria window will open up where you can add your custom criteria, remove unwanted criteria, or even prioritize them.

  3. Once done, you can choose to run the matching on the current result or completely start from scratch. Accordingly, select the option.

The candidate list will re-rank automatically. Check the Fit Score reasons to see what changed.

If the results aren’t right, try adjusting your criteria with simpler or more specific language.

💡 Tip: You can re-run matching as many times as you want. Keep refining until you see the shortlist you want.

💡 Pro tip: Searching within results generates faster AI matches
