How to Use AIRA Matchmaker to Find the Best Candidates for a Job?

Source top candidates for any job from your existing database in one click.

Recruiterflow’s AIRA Matchmaker helps you instantly find the strongest candidates for any open role from your existing database. You can customize match criteria in simple natural language and see a clear fit score for each candidate.

This means less time searching and more time closing.

Here’s how you can get started 👇

Step 1: Open your job

  1. Go to the Jobs tab under Recruiting from the sidebar.

  2. Open the job you want to find candidates for.

Step 2: Run AIRA Matchmaker

  1. In the job page, click on the ✨Generate button as seen in the image.

  2. You will see a new window open up with the criteria set by AIRA Matchmaker to find the best candidates for the job.


    In this window, you can edit a criterion, prioritize them, or remove them. At the same time, you can add a new criterion altogether, as seen in the image.

  3. Once you are set, click on the Generate AI matches button. AIRA will start scanning your database and return a ranked list of candidates in a few minutes.

You will receive a notification and an email once the match list is ready.

Step 3: Evaluate the match list

  1. Once the match list is ready, head back to the job page and click on the 'View' button as seen in the image above.

  2. A new window opens up with a ranked list of all candidates along with some details.
    Each candidate will have a Criteria Score (e.g., 78/100) that shows how closely they align with the job requirements.


    You can click on the criteria score to see how they score across all the criteria set by you, as seen in the image.

Step 4: Customize your criteria (optional)

If you want to further customize the list by adding, prioritizing, or removing some criteria, you can do so by clicking on the edit criteria icon, as shown in the image.

Once done, you can choose to run the matching on the current result or completely start from scratch. Accordingly, select the option.

The list will refresh with updated scores.

You can also regenerate the list from the jobs page, as seen in the image in Step 3.

Step 5: Review and add to the job

Once your shortlist is finalized, you can add the best matches directly to your Pipeline with one click, as seen in the image above.

As an alternative, you can also open up a candidate profile and add them from here (see image below).

If you find the candidate to be a poor fit, you can convey this to AIRA by clicking on the Not relevant button in the above image.

AIRA will remove the candidate from the match list.

Q: Can I trust the Criteria Score?

Yes. The score is explainable. You’ll see which factors contributed and can always adjust the criteria and re-run.

Q: What if I don’t get good results?

  • Try refining your criteria.

  • Check that your job description has enough details.

  • Broaden the requirements if the pool is too small.

Q: Does AIRA Matchmaker use demographic data?

No. The model does not consider demographic attributes. It only looks at candidate details and job-related data.
