The activity panel on every record shows only what you want it to show. Activity Customization in Settings is where you set those defaults — once per entity, saved permanently until you change them.
These settings apply to your account only. Each user on your workspace sets their own defaults independently.
How to Set Your Default Activities
Go to Settings from the top-right corner of Recruiterflow.
Click on Activity Customisation in the left sidebar.
You will see separate sections for each entity: Candidate, Contact, Job, Company, Deal, Placement — in that order.
Click into the entity you want to configure (e.g., Candidate).
Browse the full list of activities, organised by section. Use the search bar to find a specific activity quickly.
Select the activities you want visible by default. Use Select All to choose every activity in a section at once.
Click Save. Your defaults are now set for that entity.
Repeat for each entity as needed.
Enabling Auto-Reset on Profile Load
If you want your defaults to snap back every time you open a new profile — even if you changed activities mid-session — turn on the Reset to default when a new profile loads toggle.
In the same Activity Customisation section, find the Reset to default when new profile loads toggle.
Enable it.
With this on: open a Candidate profile, change visible activities mid-session, navigate to a different candidate — your saved defaults load automatically on the new profile. The changes you made in the previous session do not carry over.
With this off: whatever activities were visible when you left the last profile will persist as you move to the next one.
Example
You work heavily in Candidate profiles and always want to see Email, Notes, and Calls — nothing else. In Activity Customisation, you select just those three for Candidates and enable auto-reset. Now every candidate profile you open shows exactly those three activities, regardless of what the previous recruiter was looking at.
Things to Know
You must configure each entity separately. Candidate defaults do not carry over to Contact or Job.
If you select no activities for an entity, the default view may fall back to system defaults. Confirm with your Admin.
The auto-reset toggle applies globally, not per entity.
