Activity Customisation not showing up the way you expect? Here are the most common issues and how to fix each one.
My defaults are not loading when I open a profile
Cause: The Reset to default when new profile loads toggle in Settings is turned off.
Fix:
Go to Settings > Activity Customisation.
Enable the Reset to default when new profile loads toggle.
Navigate to a new profile and confirm the activity view loads with your saved selections.
I cannot find Activity Customisation in Settings
Cause: The feature may not yet be available on your plan, or it has not been rolled out to your workspace yet.
Fix: Contact Recruiterflow support to confirm availability for your account.
The activity selector is not showing on the record page
Cause: The feature may still be loading, or there is a display issue.
Fix:
Hard refresh the page (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows).
Clear your browser cache and reload.
If the issue persists across browsers, contact support.
My activity view keeps resetting when I do not want it to
Cause: The Reset to default when new profile loads toggle is enabled. It reloads your saved defaults every time you navigate to a new profile — this is by design.
Fix: If you want your session-level changes to persist across profiles, turn the toggle off in Settings > Activity Customisation.
The activity feed is empty after I reset to default
Cause: Your saved defaults in Activity Customisation have no activities selected for this entity, so the reset returns an empty selection.
Fix:
Go to Settings > Activity Customisation.
Select at least one activity for the entity in question.
Save.
Return to the record and reset to default again.
My changes in Activity Customisation are not saving
Cause: The page may have had a connection issue during save, or you navigated away before the save completed.
Fix:
Click Save again and wait for the confirmation indicator before leaving the page.
Check your internet connection.
If saving consistently fails, contact Recruiterflow support.
My teammates are not seeing my activity defaults on their screens
Cause: This is expected. Activity Customisation settings are per-user. Your defaults do not affect anyone else's view, and their settings do not affect yours.
Fix: Each team member needs to set their own defaults in Settings > Activity Customisation.
