Troubleshooting: Company Intelligence Fields Not Showing or Incorrect

Why enriched company fields show dashes, why filters don't return expected results, missing Growth Journey, and how to fix common Company Intelligence issues.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Enriched fields showing "—" (dash) on a profile

What's happening: The company record exists but hasn't been enriched yet.

When does it happen: This is normal for newly added companies. Recruiterflow enriches records after creation it doesn't happen instantly.

What to do: Wait for enrichment to run. If the dash persists for more than 24 hours on a company that has a valid LinkedIn URL or website, contact Recruiterflow support.

A company filter isn't returning the candidates I expect

Check 1: Current vs. Any. Confirm whether your filter is set to Current or Any. If set to Current, only candidates at that company right now will appear. See Understanding "Current Company" vs. "Any Company" in Filters.

Check 2: Enrichment status. Current-company filters rely on enriched data. If the candidate's current company hasn't been enriched yet, those filters won't match even if the data is correct in theory.

Check 3: The company is linked correctly. Enrichment ties to the company record via LinkedIn URL. If the company on the candidate's profile isn't properly linked to the enriched company record, the filter won't work. Verify by opening the candidate's current company card and checking that LinkedIn is populated.

Growth Journey isn't showing on a candidate profile

Reason 1: The company raised no funding rounds while the candidate was employed there. If there are no funding events during tenure, no Growth Journey is generated.

Reason 2: The company hasn't been enriched yet.

Reason 3: The candidate's employment dates on the profile are missing or incorrect. Recruiterflow uses start and end dates to determine which funding rounds fall within tenure.

Fields I previously entered (Industry, Company Size, Revenue) are gone

If your account has been upgraded to the AIRA Plan, those three fields have been replaced by enriched versions (Industries, Employee Headcount, Annual Revenue approx). The old values are not migrated automatically. The new fields will populate from Crunchbase enrichment. See What Changed: Company Size, Industry, and Revenue Fields for AIRA Plan Users.

The company's funding data looks incorrect

If a round is missing, listed with the wrong amount, or attributed to the wrong stage, you can contact Recruiterflow support to flag the discrepancy.

You cannot manually edit Total Funding, Company Stage, Investors, Last Funding, or Glassdoor Rating. These are read-only enriched fields.

I edited an enriched field and now the data is wrong / out of date

Editing an enriched field turns off auto-enrichment for that field. If the enriched data has since changed, your manually-entered value won't update. To re-enable enrichment:

  • For most fields - there's no direct way to re-enable enrichment once a field is manually edited (other than editing LinkedIn to trigger full re-enrichment)

  • For any field you can update the company's LinkedIn URL to trigger a full re-enrichment run across the account

The Chrome Extension isn't showing enriched fields when adding a company

This is expected behavior for AIRA Plan users. Enriched fields (Industries, Employee Headcount, Annual Revenue) are hidden during company creation, including via the Chrome Extension. They populate after the company record is created and enriched. Once enriched, if those fields were edited, the Edit option becomes visible in the extension.
