Setting Up Scorecard Multi-Attribution

How to enable multi-attribution for scorecards in your account, what happens when you turn it on, and what to expect when you turn it off.

Written by Amritanshu Anand

Multi-attribution is an account-level setting that Admins control. Once enabled, it applies to all jobs and all scorecards in the workspace.

How to enable multi-attribution

  1. Go to Settings β†’ General Settings β†’ Scorecard Settings.

  2. Toggle "Allow multi-attribution on scorecards" to ON.

A confirmation toast will appear: "Scorecard settings updated"

What happens to existing scorecards

Multi-attribution applies only to new submissions from the moment you enable it. Scorecards that were already submitted before the toggle was turned on continue to show the single last submitter; they are not retroactively updated.

If someone re-submits an old scorecard after you enable multi-attribution, that re-submission adds them to the attribution list and stores a version snapshot going forward.

What happens when you turn it off

Turning off multi-attribution changes behavior for future submissions only:

  • Future scorecard submissions revert to single-attribution. Only the most recent submitter's name appears.

  • Existing scorecards that already had multiple contributors listed continue to show all those names until someone re-submits them. On re-submission with multi-attribution OFF, all previous attribution is cleared and replaced with only the new submitter.

  • No new version history rows are created for submissions made while the setting is OFF.

Who can change this setting

Only Admins can see and toggle the Scorecard Settings section. Recruiters and other internal roles do not have access to this setting.

Things to know

  • This is an account-level setting. You cannot enable or disable it for individual jobs or specific interview stages.

  • Turning the toggle ON does not affect historical scorecard data. Attribution only accumulates on future submissions.

  • If the toggle is OFF and someone re-submits a scorecard that previously had multiple contributors, all prior attribution is permanently cleared and replaced with the single new submitter.

  • Version history is always preserved in the database even if you later remove a contributor from attribution (see Removing a Contributor from Scorecard Attribution).
