Viewing Version History on a Scorecard

How to open and read the scorecard version history side panel, expand individual submission snapshots, and use it to trace what each interviewer submitted.

Written by Amritanshu Anand

Every scorecard submission creates a version snapshot that internal users can browse. This lets you reconstruct exactly what each interviewer submitted: ratings, notes, questions, and decision, at the moment they clicked Submit Scorecard.

Version history is internal-only. Client Portal contacts and External Recruiters cannot access it.

How to open version history

  1. Open a candidate profile and go to the Scorecards tab.

  2. Find the scorecard for the relevant interview stage. You'll see the contributor names listed and a clock icon to the right of the names.

  3. Click the clock icon.

A side panel opens from the right titled "Scorecard Submission History" listing all submissions in reverse-chronological order (newest first). The background stays fully visible; there's no overlay dimming the page.

Reading the submission list

Each row in the panel shows:

  • The submitter's name

  • Date and time of submission

  • Their final decision badge (Strong Yes / Yes / No / Strong No), color-coded

Example:

▶ Bharath Prakash — Mar 30, 2026 at 3:45 PM [Yes]
▶ Rohit — Mar 29, 2026 at 10:22 AM [No]
▶ Manan — Mar 28, 2026 at 2:15 PM [Strong Yes]

Expanding a submission to see the full scorecard

  1. Click any row in the list to expand it.

  2. The row expands inline to show the full scorecard snapshot as it was at the time of that submission.

The expanded view shows, in read-only format:

  • Interview Instructions: collapsed by default, click to expand

  • Interview Notes

  • Ratings Table: Category, Skill, Star Rating, Notes

  • Questions and Answers: each question collapsible

  • Decision badge: Strong Yes / Yes / No / Strong No

Click the row header again (or the chevron) to collapse it back.

You can expand multiple submissions at the same time and scroll through them side-by-side within the panel.

Closing the side panel

Click the X icon in the top-right corner of the panel, or click anywhere outside the panel to close it and return to the Scorecards tab.

Example: Using version history for a disputed scorecard

A hiring manager notices that a candidate's Python rating changed from 3 stars to 5 stars between submissions. They open the version history, expand Rohit's submission (the second one), and can see that Rohit changed the rating and left a note explaining why. They expand Manan's earlier submission to see the original 3-star rating and note. The timeline is clear, no guesswork required.

Things to know

  • Version history is read-only. You cannot edit or revert a scorecard to a previous snapshot from this panel.

  • If a scorecard has only one submission, the panel shows: "No version history available. This scorecard has been submitted once."

  • If an Admin removes a contributor from attribution, their submission snapshot is still preserved in version history. Attribution removal only affects what's shown in reports and the main attribution display. It doesn't delete historical data.

  • Version history is only visible to internal users (Admins, Recruiters, and other internal roles). Client Portal contacts and External Recruiters cannot see the clock icon or access this panel.

  • Version history is only generated when multi-attribution is enabled. Submissions made while multi-attribution was OFF do not create version snapshots.
