How to Make Calls from Recruiterflow Using Dialpad

How to call candidates and contacts from their Recruiterflow profile using the Dialpad integration, and what gets logged after the call.

Written by Amritanshu Anand

With Dialpad connected to Recruiterflow, you can call candidates and contacts directly from their profile.

Before you make your first call

  • Your workspace Admin must have connected Dialpad via Settings β†’ Integrations. If you don't see calling options on profiles, check with your Admin.

  • The candidate or contact must have a phone number saved on their profile.

How to call a candidate or contact

  1. Open the candidate or contact profile you want to call.

  2. Click the phone number on the profile.

  3. Select whether you want to call or send a message and Recruiterflow will initiate the call through Dialpad using your connected number.

  4. Once the call ends, the call activity is automatically logged on the candidate or contact's profile.

What gets logged after the call

Every call placed through Dialpad is logged automatically on the profile, including:

  • Date, time, and duration of the call

  • Call title and status

  • A link to the call recording, if recording is enabled in your Dialpad account

The call recordings are available in the AIRA Notetaker section

Example

You're preparing to call a candidate Sarah Mitchell for a first-round screen. Open her profile in Recruiterflow, click her phone number, and Dialpad places the call. Once you hang up, a call record appears under her profile activity with the timestamp and duration. If your Admin has enabled call recording, the recording is also attached in AIRA Notetaker.

Things to know

  • Calls are placed using the Dialpad number your Admin selected when setting up the integration. You cannot choose a different number per call.

  • The call can be initiated from within Recruiterflow or directly in the Dialpad app. In both cases, it will be automatically attributed to the profile in Recruiterflow that has the number attached.
