Who this is for: Recruiters and managers who want to understand how each channel is performing within a specific sequence.
What the Channel Performance Report shows
The Channel Performance Report lives inside the Overview tab of each sequence. It breaks down performance by outreach channel — Email, Social, SMS, and Tasks — so you can see exactly which channels are driving replies and which aren't pulling their weight.
All metrics are calculated at the unique recipient level within the sequence and channel. If a sequence has three email steps and a recipient opens emails in two of them, they count as one opened recipient for Email — not two.
Sequence View vs. User View
A View By toggle in the top right of the report controls how metrics are grouped:
Sequence View (default) — aggregates metrics across all senders. Shows overall channel performance for the sequence.
User View — breaks down every metric by the individual sender assigned to recipients. Lets you compare recruiter performance channel by channel.
The same metrics and channel tabs are available in both views. Switching to User View adds a recruiter breakdown row under each metric.
Email channel metrics
Covers all email step types in the sequence: Automated Email, Manual Email, and Marketing Email combined.
Metric | Definition |
Emails Sent | Total number of email send attempts across all email steps in the sequence. |
Delivered Emails | Total emails successfully delivered (sent minus bounced and failed). Expressed as a delivery rate (Delivered ÷ Sent). |
Recipients Contacted | Unique recipients who had at least one email attempt in the sequence — across all email step types combined. |
Open Rate | Unique recipients who opened at least one email ÷ Recipients Contacted. Hidden if open tracking is disabled at account level. |
Reply Rate | Unique recipients who replied at least once via email ÷ Recipients Contacted. |
Bounce Rate | Recipients for whom all email attempts bounced ÷ Recipients Contacted. |
User View example:
Sender | Sent | Delivered | Recipients Contacted | Open % | Reply % | Bounce Rate |
John | 250 | 240 | 120 | 45% | 4% | 1% |
Priya | 200 | 195 | 107 | 48% | 6% | 1% |

Social is split into two sub-sections: Connection Requests and Messages.
Connection Requests
Metric | Definition |
Requests Sent | Unique recipients with at least one social connection request sent in the sequence. |

Recipients Contacted | Unique recipients with at least one social message sent. |
Reply Rate | Unique recipients who replied at least once via social ÷ Recipients Contacted. |
SMS channel metrics
Metric | Definition |
SMS Sent | Total number of SMS send attempts in the sequence. |
Delivered SMS | Unique recipients with at least one successfully delivered SMS. |
Recipients Contacted | Unique recipients with at least one SMS attempt in the sequence. |
Reply Rate | Unique recipients who replied at least once via SMS ÷ Delivered recipients. |
Task metrics

Completed % | Tasks marked complete ÷ Tasks created. |
Skipped % | Tasks skipped ÷ Tasks created. |
Overdue % | Tasks currently overdue ÷ Tasks created. |
Comparative bar charts
Below the per-channel metric tables, the report includes visual bar charts for quick channel comparison.
In Sequence View
A side-by-side bar chart compares channels against each other — Email vs. Social vs. SMS — on metrics like Reply Rate and Open Rate. Bars are ordered highest to lowest. Hovering shows absolute values (e.g., "Email: 42 replies, 8% Reply Rate").
Use this to answer: Which channel is working best for this sequence?
In User View
The chart pivots to show recruiter performance within each channel — each bar represents a sender. A metric dropdown lets you switch between Reply %, Open %, Meetings Booked, etc. Bars are sorted highest to lowest. Hovering shows the full breakdown per sender.
