How to Request a Subscription Pause

For admins who want to temporarily suspend their Recruiterflow subscription.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Subscription pauses are handled by the Recruiterflow support team. There's no self-serve pause button in the product. You'll need to send a request, and the team will confirm the pause details with you before anything changes on your account.

Before you request

Have these details ready, they'll speed up the process:

  • Your account name and the email address on the account (the one used to log into Recruiterflow)

  • Your desired pause start date: Pauses typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless you've discussed an exception with the team

  • Your expected return date: How long you expect to need the pause (even if approximate)

  • Any active sequences or campaigns: Let the team know if you have outreach running so they can flag what will stop sending

How to submit the request

  1. Email help@recruiterflow.com with the subject line: "Subscription Pause Request — [Your Account Name]"

  2. In the email, include: your account email, the start date you're requesting, and your expected return date.

  3. The support team will confirm the pause details and let you know when it takes effect.

You'll receive a confirmation email once the pause is active. Keep this email, it's useful reference when you're ready to reactivate.

What to expect after you submit

  • Response time: The support team typically responds within 1 business day.

  • Confirmation: You'll get an email confirming the pause start date and what changes on your account.

  • Billing: Charges stop at the agreed pause date. If you're mid-cycle, clarify with the team whether a prorated adjustment applies.

  • Access: Your account access will be suspended once the pause takes effect. Make sure to export anything you need before that date

Things to know

  • Pause requests can't be submitted from inside the Recruiterflow app, email is the only channel.

  • If you have multiple users on the account, only the account owner or admin needs to submit the request.

  • Pauses are subject to the terms of your plan. If you're on an annual contract, reach out to discuss your options before assuming a pause is available.
