Getting started with AIRA Search

How to access AIRA Search for the first time: plan requirements, prerequisites, and where to find the search bar.

Written by Amogh Balikai

Before you start

AIRA Search requires the following before it's available in your workspace:

  • AIRA Plan: Your account must be on the AIRA Plan. Users on other plan tiers will not see the AIRA Search bar.

Where to find AIRA Search

Once enabled, the AIRA Search button appears at the top right corner of every page. It is labeled "AIRA" and is separate from the standard Advanced Search filters.

You can even trigger AIRA Search on any page by simply clicking the cmd button twice

Clicking the bar opens a centered search modal with the placeholder text: "Find candidates using everything you know and more"

Running your first search

  1. Click the AIRA Search button or trigger it using the cmd key

  2. Type a description of the candidate you're looking for in plain English, as if briefing a colleague

  3. Press Enter

  4. AIRA will parse your query, may ask a clarifying question, and then return a ranked results table

What happens if AIRA can't interpret your query

If AIRA cannot parse your input (e.g., a nonsense string or a non-recruitment query), it will display: "We couldn't interpret this query. Try rephrasing to get better results." A link to the standard structured filter search will appear below the message.

Things to know before you search

  • AIRA Search results are scoped to your current active account. Cross-account search is not supported.

  • If your account has zero candidates, AIRA Search will return an empty state immediately without running a query.
