How to Use the Related Companies Filter (Contacts, Jobs, Deals, Placements)

Filter an investor profile's Contacts, Jobs, Deals, and Placements cards by company, portfolio, head office, or all related companies.

Written by Amogh Balikai

On an investor's company profile, the Contacts, Jobs, Deals, and Placements cards each carry a dropdown filter so you can scope what you're looking at, from just the investor entity itself to its entire portfolio.

The four options

  • <Company Name>: only records tied directly to the investor company itself.

  • Portfolio: records aggregated across every company in this investor's portfolio, one level deep.

  • Head Office and Locations: records tied to the investor's head office and any additional locations.

  • All Related Companies: the union of all three above, everything at once.

How to use it

  1. Open the investor's company profile.

  2. On the Contacts, Jobs, Deals, or Placements card, open the filter dropdown.

  3. Choose the scope you want. The list below the card updates immediately.

Example

A BD lead opens Meridian Capital's profile ahead of a pitch. Switching the Jobs card to Portfolio shows every open role across all of Meridian's portfolio companies in one view, instantly surfacing where the firm already has traction versus where there's white space to pitch.

Things to know

  • This dropdown only appears on investor profiles. Non-investor company profiles keep their existing, unfiltered card behavior.

  • Previously, the Contacts card only offered two options (<Company Name> and All Related Companies). It now offers all four, matching Jobs, Deals, and Placements.
