Understanding the Field Mapping Screen: What Gets Pre-Filled and What You Edit

Every field the Kickoff Call Agent can populate, and which ones are mandatory versus conditional.

Written by Amogh Balikai

The field mapping screen always shows fields in the same fixed order. Mandatory fields appear even if AIRA couldn't extract a value — you'll just see an empty, editable field instead.

Field

Behavior

Job Title

Mandatory. Pre-filled from the transcript if mentioned.

Company Name

Mandatory. Pre-filled from the contact's associated company. Not editable inline — links to the company record instead.

Contact Name

Mandatory. Pre-filled from the meeting contact. Not editable inline.

Department

Always shown. Inferred from the role title and context, pre-selected with AIRA's best match; you can override via dropdown.

Location

Always shown. Uses the value mentioned on the call if there is one, otherwise defaults to the company's location.

Commitment

Shown only if discussed on the call or if mandatory on your account.

Number of Openings

Always shown. Defaults to 1 if not discussed.

Salary

Shown only if a value was discussed on the call.

Experience Range

Shown only if a value was discussed on the call.

Custom Fields

Shown only if AIRA extracted a value with enough confidence.

Job Description

Always shown last. Populated from the transcript if role scope was discussed, otherwise left blank with a placeholder prompt.

How Action Taken works

For non-mandatory fields with a suggested value, Action Taken defaults to Add — you can switch it to Do Nothing to skip that field without editing the value. Non-mandatory fields with no extracted value simply aren't shown, except where noted above.
