Known behaviors
Situation | What happens |
Recipient has one alternate email on file | Recruiterflow retries the step against that address automatically. |
Recipient has multiple alternate emails on file | Recruiterflow works through them in order until one delivers or all have bounced. |
Recipient has no alternate email on file | The recipient moves straight to Bounced status |
All email addresses on profile bounce | The recipient moves to Bounced status once every address has been tried. |
Rotation and Bounce Rate reporting | A recipient who bounces on one address but delivers on a rotated address is not counted in Bounce Rate — they were successfully contacted. See Understanding How Sequence Metrics Are Calculated. |
