Who this is for: Anyone relying on the Hiring Velocity filter for reporting or automation, who wants to know its edge cases before trusting the numbers.
Known behaviors
Situation | What happens |
A job is closed | Closed jobs are excluded entirely. The filter only evaluates open jobs. |
A stage movement is deleted | The count updates to reflect the deletion. Deleted movements don't count toward the total. |
Job was reopened | "Days Since Job Open" counts from the most recent time the job was opened, not its original open date. |
Account uses Fill Skip Over counting | Candidates are counted as having reached a stage even if they were fast-tracked past it. See Fill Skip Overs vs. Actual. |
Account uses Actual counting | Only candidates who genuinely passed through the selected stage are counted. |
