Why does the Deal profile look different for a colleague on another team?
By design. Recruiterflow profiles are built as workspaces, not one fixed record for everyone, so different teams can configure their columns, cards, and visible fields around how they actually work a deal, while everyone's still reading and writing the same underlying data. What you see is controlled by Organization, Team, or Personal-level layout settings, not by a difference in the data itself.
Can a deal have more than one company?
No. A deal is always tied to exactly one company. This is intentionally different from the Contact profile, which supports multiple companies with a primary indicator.
Can I create a new company from a Deal profile?
No. You can search and link an existing company, but company creation isn't available from the Deal profile. This follows Recruiterflow's general entity hierarchy: Company sits above Deal, so Deal can only link to it, not create it.
Why don't I see the Associated Job Card on an open deal?
Job association only exists once a deal is Closed Won. Before that, the card shows an empty state explaining the deal needs to close first.
What happens to jobs if I remove a job's association from a deal?
Only the link between the Deal and Job is removed. Any data that was transferred between them during the association, like company name, stays on both records.
Does deleting a deal delete its company, contacts, or jobs?
No. Deleting a Deal profile never cascade-deletes associated Jobs, Companies, or Contacts.
Can I stop the Associated Company, Job or Contact card from showing at all?
No, they're mandatory in at least one of the three columns. You can move them to a different column, but not remove them from the layout entirely.
Who can change which company or contacts are linked to a deal?
Anyone with edit permission on the deal. Viewing the associated data only requires view access, no edit permission needed just to see it.
Does the company-mismatch nudge block adding a contact?
No. The contact is added to the deal regardless of your choice on the nudge, dismissing it just means the contact's own company profile isn't updated.
