Control how AIRA writes your job description, including tone, language, length, structure and what to emphasize or leave out, by editing the Instructions field in the Job Description Generator.
What Instructions control
Instructions come pre-filled with a default. You can edit them or replace them completely. AIRA follows your instructions over its own default writing preferences. The default asks AIRA to:
Write in plain, candidate-friendly English, speaking to the reader as "you".
Open with a short summary of the role and why it matters.
Use clear headings and concise bullet points.
Aim for 300 to 500 words when there is enough detail.
Avoid clichés such as "rockstar" and "ninja".
Examples of instructions you can add
"Write in a formal tone for senior executive candidates. Keep it under 400 words."
"Write the job description in Spanish."
"Leave out the benefits section."
"Emphasize remote flexibility and team size."
"Do not mention the client's name. Describe them as a leading fintech firm."
Remember your instructions
Edit your Instructions.
Select the checkbox to remember them.
Your saved instructions load the next time you open the generator. They are saved for you only. Teammates keep their own.
Things to know
If you change a role detail in your instructions, AIRA uses the revised detail.
Instructions cannot make AIRA invent facts that are not in your role description.
If you clear the Instructions field, AIRA writes a clear, professional, easy-to-scan job description.
By default, AIRA leaves out the salary range and the client name. Ask for either in your Instructions or role description if you want them included.
