Enroll a single candidate in an automated email sequence directly from their profile. Sequences run multi-step outreach over time so you don't have to remember to follow up manually. For enrolling many candidates at once, use Advanced Search instead.
Add a candidate to a sequence
Open the candidate's profile.
On the right-hand panel, find the Sequences card.
Click + Add Sequence.
Pick the sequence you want to enroll them in from the dropdown.
Click Add.
The candidate is now enrolled. The first step fires according to the sequence's schedule.
Example
A recruiter just sourced a strong .NET developer for an open role. From his profile, she opens the Sequences card, clicks + Add Sequence, picks "Inbound Tech β Initial Outreach," and confirms. The first email goes out the next morning at 9 AM, and the two follow-ups fire automatically over the next ten days unless he replies in the meantime.
Things to know
The candidate needs an email on file. Sequences can't enroll a profile without a valid email address.
Check the sequence's category first. A sequence built with a Candidate template will pull candidate fields β if you enroll a contact who's missing those fields, parts of the email render blank.
You can pause, resume, or remove the candidate at any time from the Sequences card on their profile.
For bulk enrollment, use Advanced Search. Filter to the candidates you want, select them, and use the bulk action to add them to a sequence in one shot.
Activity shows up on the profile timeline. Every step sent β and any replies β appears on the candidate's profile so the whole team has the same context.
