How to set up and customize deal won/lost close reasons

When you close a deal as Won or Lost, Recruiterflow prompts you to log a reason. Tracking close reasons helps your team spot patterns β€” what's driving wins, and where deals are slipping.

You can manage these reasons by pre-configuring a standard list in CRM Settings.

Pre-configure reasons in CRM Settings (Admin only)

  1. Go to Settings from the left navigation.

  2. Click CRM Settings.

  3. Find the Deal Closed Won Reasons or Deal Closed Lost Reasons section.

  4. Add your standard reasons to the list.

These reasons will appear as selectable options any time a team member moves a deal to Closed Won or Closed Lost. Changes here apply across the entire workspace.

Things to know

  • Only Admins can pre-configure the reasons list in CRM Settings. These changes are workspace-wide.

  • Close reasons feed into your deal reporting. A clean, consistent list makes those reports far more useful.
