The Recruiterflow Chrome extension lets you save a profile as either a candidate or a contact. Switching between the two modes is a one-click action β but it lives in a spot that's easy to miss the first time.
How to switch modes
Open the Recruiterflow Chrome extension on a profile page.
Click the small arrow at the bottom of the extension window.
Pick Add Candidate or Add Contact.
The extension remembers your choice. The next time you open it, it'll open in the mode you last used β until you switch again.
Practical example
You're sourcing on LinkedIn for a Senior Engineer role. The extension is set to Add Contact because you spent the morning logging client-side stakeholders. Now it's time to start saving candidates. Click the bottom arrow, switch to Add Candidate, and the extension stays in that mode for the rest of your sourcing session.
Things to know
Add Candidate saves the profile to your candidate database β for people you might place into a role.
Add Contact saves the profile to your Recruiterflow account as a contact.
The extension defaults to whichever mode you last used. If you work in batches (a sourcing session, then a BD session), the toggle stays put between sessions.
