When you need to find candidates whose attached files contain a specific phrase — like a job title, certification, or skill — the Text Search filter in Advanced Search lets you do exactly that. Adding quotes around your search term forces an exact match, so you only see results that contain that precise phrase.
How to run an exact match file search
Go to Advanced Search from the left navigation.
Click Add Filter on the right side of the screen.
Select Text Search from the filter list.
Check the Files box — this tells Recruiterflow to search inside uploaded documents, not just profile fields.
Type your search term in quotes. For example:
"Recruiting Professional"Click Done.
Practical example
You want a list of candidates whose resumes mention "project management." Without quotes, the search returns profiles containing either word anywhere in the file. With quotes — "project management" — only profiles where that exact phrase appears come back.
Things to know
Text Search scans the contents of uploaded files — resumes, cover letters, and other documents attached to the profile.
Without quotes, the search works as a keyword match (any of the words). With quotes, it requires the exact phrase.
This filter works alongside other Advanced Search filters, so you can combine it with location, tags, or stage filters to narrow results further.
