How to Use Company Intelligence Filters in Candidate Search

How to apply company-level filters in AIRA candidate search, what each filter does, and practical search examples for recruiters.

What this article covers

AIRA Plan users can search candidates using company-level data: funding history, headcount, growth stage, investors, and more. This article walks through how to apply these filters and what to expect from each one.

Where to find the filters

Open Advanced Search and look for the company filters section. These filters appear alongside the existing candidate-level filters.

Understanding "Current Company" vs. "Any Company"

Many filters ask you to choose between Current or Any before applying them. This is the most important concept to get right.

  • Current — Applies only to the company the candidate is at right now

  • Any — Applies to any company the candidate has ever worked at, including their current one

For example, if you filter for "Company Stage is Series B" with Current, you get candidates who are currently at a Series B company. With Any, you also get candidates who once worked at a Series B company, even if they've since moved on.

Applying a filter: step by step

  1. Open Advanced Candidate Search

  2. Click Add Filter in the company filters section

  3. Select the filter you want (e.g., Company Stage)

  4. For filters that support it, choose Current or Any

  5. Select your operator (e.g., "is one of") and enter your values

  6. Click Apply

You can stack multiple company filters together. Recruiterflow returns candidates who match all filters (AND logic).

Available company filters

For a complete reference of every filter, its operators, and input type, see Filter Reference: Company Filters in AIRA Candidate Search.

Key filters at a glance:

  • Company — Filter by company name (starts with, contains, exact match)

  • Company Industry — Filter by one or more industries

  • Employee Headcount — Filter by number of employees (greater than, less than, between)

  • Annual Revenue — Filter by approximate revenue range

  • Glassdoor Rating — Filter by rating score, up to one decimal place

  • Company Stage — Filter by funding stage (Seed, Series A, B, C, etc.)

  • Last Funding Date — Filter by when the company last raised

  • Last Funding Amount — Filter by the most recent round size

  • Total Funding Amount — Filter by total capital raised

  • Annual Headcount Growth — Filter by YoY headcount growth percentage

  • Investors at Current Company — Filter by specific investors

  • Investors During Tenure — Filter by investors present during a past role

  • Company Growth Stages During Tenure — Find candidates who were there as the company grew from one stage to another

  • Joined Before Company Round — Find candidates who were hired before a specific funding round

  • Left After Company Round — Find candidates who stayed through a specific funding round

Practical example

You're hiring a VP of Sales for a Series C company and want candidates who have done it before. You'd filter for:

  • Company Growth Stages During Tenure: From Series B → To Series C or later (Any)

  • Current title contains "VP" or "Vice President"

This gives you candidates who were senior at a company while it scaled through a Series C raise, the exact profile you need.
