Setting the Default Font for Job Descriptions

Written by Shweta Singh

Set the default font Recruiterflow uses for new job descriptions, so every job you create starts with your preferred style without manual formatting.

Where to find it

Go to Settings → Job Settings. Scroll to Default Font Used for Job Descriptions.

How to set it

  1. Go to Settings → Job Settings.

  2. Find Default Font Used for Job Descriptions.

  3. Choose your preferred font from the dropdown.

  4. Click Save.

Example

An agency standardizes on Arial for all client-facing job postings. An Admin sets this once in Job Settings, and every new job description created afterward uses Arial by default — recruiters can still override it on individual jobs if a client requests a different style.

Things to know

  • This is a workspace-level setting, typically configured by an Admin in Job Settings.

  • The fonts available are widely supported across all major browsers.

  • Changing this default doesn't retroactively update existing job descriptions — only new ones created after the change.

  • This is separate from your personal default font for emails and calendar invites, which is set under Settings → Profile.
